FireEye Researcher Ronghwa Chong reports, that the as-yet-undefeated ransomware bug Locky is being hurled at hospitals in the united states and Japan. Locky is a very popular variant of ransomware it encrypts any files that it can see. It then tries to force the users to pay an amount of money, ranging from hundreds to thousands to get these files released.
