New Security flaw found in AVG, McAfee, Symantec and more!
Many security applications may not be protecting you as well as you expect. This is down to a bug in their software using a method called ‘codehooking’.
These findings are down to Tomer Bitton and Udi Yavo. They have researched and found these bugs in a number of big name applications then shared their findings. The pair have found 6 known security issues that occur from false implementation of ‘code hooking’ and ‘injection’ methods. These security issues have been located in more than 15 unique products. Which means that large numbers of applications and more importantly users like you, have been affected.
