Review and smartphone news website MoDaCo has admitted to being breached by an unauthorised entity.
The founder of MoDaCo, Paul O’Brien confirmed that the security leak had happened. 875,000 MoDaCo user’s account information has been leaked. This information includes email addresses, IP addresses along with usernames and passwords. It is believed that a compromised admin account was the main cause of the breach, this is believed to have happened back in January 2016.
A number of the forum members were very disappointed to hear about the breach from a third party, and not from MoDaCo directly.
