IKEA’s TaskRabbit breach means new passwords

The technology giant Carphone Warehouse took several days to publically announce to a huge data breach in their systems. It is reported that the credit card data of upwards of 90,000 customers is likely to have been stolen.
The attack which took place sometime at the beginning of August could be a costly attack for the company and it admitted that it had been the victim of a “sophisticated cyber-attack”.
Carphone Warehouse owns the following services which have also been affected: One Stop Phone Shop, Mobiles.co.uk and e2save.com and these services support other mobile technology companies such as IdMobile TalkTalk Mobile and Talk mobile and additionally customers of which have been indirectly affected in this attack.
