Major holes patched by Google for Android!
It has been reported that google have released their November security updates for Android operating systems. The patches that have been released will fix a large bag of security holes within the operating system. Google have advised that users should get these installed as soon as they become available on their devices. Depending on your carrier and the device manufacturer it may vary when they pull down onto your device.
Another hole that has been patched by this release of patches is the KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability. This major flaw made the headlines last month, researchers described how the flaw could potentially allow hackers to listen to wireless network traffic. Google’s fixes that have been released cover 9 CVE entries, these include CVE-2017-13077, CVE-2017-13078, CVE-2017-13079, CVE-2017-13080, CVE-2017-13081, CVE-2017-13082, CVE-2017-13086, CVE-2017-13087 and finally CVE-2017-13078.
