Hackers target Ukrainian banks!
A group of hackers turned off the lights at Ukrainian utilities last December, and over the last few months they have been running attacks against the same countries banks.
ESET who are a security firm have reported that hackers have been slinging the TeleBots malware against the Ukrainian banks. This attack shares a large number of similarities with the BlackEnergy group hack, which happened in December 2015.
This previous attack is slightly different, the hackers used spear fishing emails with Microsoft Excel documents attached which contained malicious macros, this was their main method for spreading infections.
