Former bank manager pleads guilty to computer misuse!
It has been reported that a former bank manager for Santander has pleaded guilty to 15k worth of computer misuse crimes. This was after her boyfriend persuaded her to give him some illicitly obtained customer information.
On the morning of the 17th January 2018 at the City of London Magistrates’ court Abiola Ajibade, 24 pleaded guilty. Abiola pleaded guilty to “causing a computer to perform a function to secure unauthorised access to a program or data” contrary to section 1 of the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
Abiola’s crimes started in August 2015 when she was 22 and carried on for a year. It was reported in court that the total value of the fraudulent transactions caused by Abiola was £15,000.
