2015 TalkTalk hackers charged!
It’s been reported that 2 people from the UK have admitted to stealing 150,000 + records from Internet giant TalkTalk.
Connor Douglass Allsopp aged 20 and Matthew Hanley aged 22 both from Tamworth, have admitted to the charges from the 2015 hack against TalkTalk. The 2 people in question attacked the broadband ISP’s systems and made numerous attempts to try sell the personal data to the fraudsters.
Hanley pleaded guilty to 3 charges of breaching the Computer Misuse Act and also 1 charge of supplying an article for use in fraud. Allsopp pleaded guilty to supplying an article for use in fraud and he also pleaded guilty to supplying an article intended for use in the commission of an offence.
Hanley and Allsopp are due to be sentenced on May 31st at the Old Bailey.
