Wonga admits data breach!

 
 

Massive payday loan firm Wonga have admitted to a data breach recently. It has been reported that around 270,000 customers are at risk from this breach, 245,000 of these are from the UK. Wonga have assured customers that their accounts will be secure and that users don’t need to take action. It has also been reported that if users are concerned then they can change their passwords, also to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.

It’s believed that the criminals could have had access to the following, name, email address, phone number, home address, bank account number and sort code. It has also been reported that they may have had access to the last 4 digits of your card number, but not the whole number.
