Malware USB sticks found in letterboxes!

Police in the Australian state of Victoria have been warning the residents to be on the lookout for USB sticks been posted through their letter boxes. Residents are advised not to trust un-marked USB sticks that appear in the post. The warning that’s been issued says that the USB drives are suspected to be very harmful, people are urged not to plug them into computers and other devices.

This mysterious USB drop only seems to be affecting the suburb of Pakenham in Victoria’s capital Melbourne. However, the police thought it was appropriate to make a state wide alert. When the drives are inserted into a computer the victims have experienced fraudulent media streaming offers, along with other serious issues.
